ABOUT US

The Full Story

On  9 April 2020, my dear daughter T officially spent her last day in Garden House Nursery Schools in Kingston. It is a sad story because she did nothing wrong but a victim of bullying in nursery. Her ear, as you can see on the main photo, was badly bitten. Bruised. Even we sent email to nursery immediately after I found it, after the Easter holiday, I only received an email from this nursery denying their responsibility but started to bully me as a parent stating I “ label” and libel. After I further questioned their safeguarding, they thrown exclusion threats and finally because I insist that as parent I have right to comment and question their settings, my child got excluded with two days notice.

They sent an email to all parents in the nursery stopping them to join any related discussion and stated whoever continue attending this discussion, their children will get removed. Since then, no parent dare to question them further and waited until the emergency meeting triggered by my action. Clearly they excluded my child to stop me attending the meeting as a parent so they can tell their designed story. However, during that weekend, on Facebook some victims in the previous over 10 years, stood out and shared their stories. How they were mistreated, how badly their children were bullied. How staff are bullied, and many times ofsted got involved due to their ratio issues and safeguarding concerns...

obviously, they failed in the meeting as some parents contacted me and passed on their statement: they won’t do anything different and parents have to accept that their children will get hurt and they will continue receiving more accident forms. Even parents kept asking the difference between incidents and accidents, they kept answering it by questioning back if they have trust on the nursery and staff, trying to switch the problem away.

This kind of attitude is their “routine” of dealing with parents when parents raise concerns...

Accuse you of bullying staff

Accuse you of questioning staff.. ruining staff’s career -Announce that your child is excluded because of your complaint-Continue squashing you by stating you are risking your child’s place, your child needs stability -Finally when you still insist on questioning their management, you got excluded and totally cut off without any further replies.

This is a premise which ofsted report can tell you that they have ratio problem three years ago. They let a child escape from the nursery some months ago. They rephrased it “ a child successfully opened the second lock” but will that change the fact that one child escaped?

Is it concerns when you kept receiving “ accident forms” from the nursery when your child can tell you that she got hit in the nursery and you can still believe there is no bullying?

They are not treating customer fairly and more importantly,We definitely need to safeguard our children!
